My Dog died on 12/04/09 of old age and the first owner want her ashes.?

here is a true story. in 1999 sarah (the dog) Was born. The first owner of her was my best friend Donna, She had her for 5 year and had to give up sarah because Donna was moving and the apartment she was moving too does not allow dogs, so Sarah went thur 4 owners within 5 years. the last owner (for which her name is Connie) who had Sarah (age 10) was beating her. I went to connie had sarah for 2 months i heard that this woman was beating sarah with a leash, so i went to this woman apartment and pick up sarah (She is only 20 pounds). Connie said that she will call the cops. i looked at this woman and i went to her phone and picked it up and dialed 91 and handed the phone to her and said go ahead and dial the last number, and remember when you tell the cops that i got your dog make sure you tell them what you did to sarah. i got people in this building who saw you beat this dog with her leash. you will go to jail i well go to jail and sarah will to the pound and maybe died. And you (connie) will spend 25 to life in prison it will be your 3rd strike. so you chose 25 to life or give sarah to me. she put down the phone and gave sarah to me, for 10 years sarah was with me, She ped away at the age of 20. i called Donna (the first Owner). to let her know that Sarah ped away. She asked me if i had Sarah ashes, i told her that i do, She said want her ashes. i told her no. but she is pushing the issue. what should i do?
