Ultimate Bumblebee Battle charge Transformers (toy) problem. no sound?

just bought this yesterday and found that the sound don't work. i changed the battrees and pressed the on on the back and it made this weird loud sound that didnt sound anything like it should of been. so i switched it off to stop the sound then turned it back on. but now theres no sound what so ever again. I'm going to take it back tomorow. i was just wondering if this has happend to anyone else. Bought from argos.
