Dating and relationship?

I just want to know if this guy really wants me or not,we have bin going out for two years wth ths christian guy and he s all i want in a man and very commitment whn it s to the Word of God and he fear God,let me say we are all born again christian and when i move from his town because i got a job in a different town told me that its over between us coz he cnt have long distance relationship and i accept his opinion.2years past now and in this third year he s telling me he wants me back and whn i asked him if he s nw ready for a long relationship he tel me to 4get about the past and move on with the present.Im afraid if he s stil the same guy i met those years?and wht is making worse seems he told me its over i neva heard anything frm him,do u think he wil stil b honest wth?please help
