Did I ovulate later than suppose to?

I was scheduled to ovulate on July 4 2009. I never experience what is have during ovulation. Today which was July 9, 2009 I had the dull pain on one side. I lasted basically all day. It really felt like little twinges, and pulls in my lower abdomen. My right ovary hurt really bad. Do you think this was my ovulation day? Has anyone else out the had this happen? Any advice helpful!
